There's a chance that it may become more settled during next weekend.\n\nMonday night: Largely dry for much of the night with some clear spells. It'll become increasingly cloudy further south, with outbreaks of rain moving into southern counties later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees, in freshening southeasterly winds.\n\nTuesday: Tuesday will become wet and windy, with rain becoming widespread from the south, some of that heavy and thundery, with localised flooding possible, especially further south. A mild and humid day with highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees with southeasterly winds increasing fresh to strong and gusty and reaching near gale to gale force in some coastal parts of the south and west.\n\nTuesday night: A clearance will move into southwestern parts on Tuesday evening or early Tuesday night and will extend northeastwards to all parts, with the last of the rain clearing from the northeast at around midnight or soon after. Some heavy, thundery, blustery showers will follow overnight, especially into the south and west. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds, veering southerly and decreasing moderate to fresh over land, stronger in many coastal parts and reaching gale force in some western coastal parts.\n\nWednesday: Wednesday will be another rather windy day with sunny spells and fairly widespread showers, some heavy and thundery, with the chance of hail. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southerly winds, reaching near gale to gale force in western coastal parts.\n\nThursday: Not as windy or showery on Thursday, with spells of sunshine and with good dry spells, but scattered showers too, especially further west. It'll likely become cloudier later, with rain probably moving into western parts. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, southwest winds, backing southerly and increasing fresh to strong along the west coast later.\n\nFriday: Any lingering rain in the east and southeast will quickly clear on Friday morning to leave a bright day, with sunny spells and a good lot of dry weather, and just some well scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in mostly moderate southwest winds.
